Itinerary
Day 01 - Lima / Caral / Casma
Early morning departure to Casma. En route visit the site of Caral, dating from 2600BC, and considered the oldest city of Americas. Also Paramonga archaeology site. Overnight at selected hotel in Casma.
Day 2 - Casma / Sechin / Trujillo
Visit the ruins of Sechin. Here it is possible to find close to 500 carved monoliths. Then continue to Trujillo. Overnight at Libertador Hotel.
Day 3 - Trujillo
Full day tour. Visit the City and its colonial buildings and explore the Moche Valley including the pyramids of Sun and the moon with their impressive colorful decorations. After lunch at Huanchaco beach, demonstration how fishermen used the famous totora reed boats as their ancestor did in the past. Then continue to the adobe city of Chan Chan, capital of the Chimu Empire. Overnight at Libertador Hotel.
Day 4 - Trujillo / Chiclayo
Morning depart to Chiclayo. On the way visit the ceremonial Moche center of El Brujo. Lunch at Paijan with a Peruvian horse show. Continue to Chiclayo. Overnight at Gran Hotel Chiclayo.
Day 5 - Chiclayo / Lima
Morning visit to Sipán archaeological site burials, the valley of pyramids of Tucume and the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum.- Lunch. Overnight at Chiclayo.
Fixed departures: Daily, year-round.
